Your comments on heroines over the past week or so are very encouraging. Though I love the male counterpart, I absolutely must love the heroine or the book will be put down. :)
It's good to know my ideas on heroines resonate with you, Bethanne. I'll get to the gentlemen and their role eventually, but the ladies come first--which is, of course, the point here: the main strength of romance novels is that they concentrate on the female protagonist. And yes, a weak heroine, or one so lost in lust that she can't think straight, can turn a book into a Good Will offering from me, too.
