Holiday Greetings

Happy Holidays to all during this season of joy.  Thank you so much for joining me here, for buying my books and, especially, for taking the time to let me know what you thought or felt about them.  Please accept my warmest wishes for all that's bright and beautiful now and throughout the coming year.

Merry Christmas and all the best wishes for a Happy 2006. I can hardly wait for Dawn Encounter to hit the stores. I received a book store giftcard for Christmas, my family knows what I will be using it for!
Thank you for the many hours of reading enjoyment that your books have given me. You're the best.

What a grand compliment, Sharon, that you'd use your gift care for my new book. I really hope you enjoy it! Given it's Dec. 27 publication date, I received my Dawn Encounter author copies a couple of weeks ago--so my family members got signed copies as early Christmas gifts. My mom said she started it yesterday morning, thinking she'd just see how it went--but had to keep going back to it all day while cooking Christmas dinner, could hardly put it down. I am, she said, "back to my old form" with this series. Hmm. She's always preferred my historicals, I know, but does this mean she wasn't too taken with the contemporary stories? Moms always tell it like it is, don't they? :-)

Good Morning Jennifer,
I got my copy of Dawn Encounter at Barnes & Noble yesterday (the 26th) Now the hard part is trying to read it slowly! I am a fast reader and usually rush through it the first time, then do a reread to enjoy the nuances that I missed the first time.
Historicals are my favorites in general and yours in particular.
I will post my complments after I've read it!

It's good to know that you find nuances in my books, Sharon--since that's one of the things I enjoy most in the work of my favorite authors. I also appreciate a certain richness of detail. Hope you find this in Dawn Encounter as well!
